Kannan Rahul is Partner, Trilegal, and is a member of the Banking and Finance team. Kannan has significant experience in handling financing transactions involving Indian and multinational banks, financial institutions and corporates.

He has been involved in structuring, documentation and negotiation of several types of banking and finance transactions, including bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, term loans, working capital facilities, project financing, guaranteed credit facilities to overseas subsidiaries of Indian entities, and trade finance.

Kannan has acted for corporates and investors in issuances of listed and unlisted privately placed debentures. He has advised various banks in the public and private sectors, on restructuring of their debt, including under different schemes notified by the Reserve Bank of India.
