Hazel Dooley is a Partner and Head of the Banking & Finance practice at Sheehan and Company LLP.

Hazel is an experienced real estate and banking lawyer, advising public and private sector clients across the full spectrum of commercial property finance and transactions.

Hazel is experienced acting for non-institutional lenders in the provision of development finance and taking of security. She also acts for some of the country’s leading property developers from the initial site acquisition and development finance through to the disposal of the individual units.

Hazel manages the firm’s Portfolio team, co-ordinating large volume acquisitions and disposals of commercial, residential and mixed use units.

Sheehan has built extensive expertise in banking over many years, representing a wide range of Irish banks and international investors in the provision of security for complex transactions, including mezzanine finance and multiple or interbank guarantees.

The firm is well-versed in the diverse mechanisms employed in innovative and creative financial structures, acting on behalf of both borrowers and lenders. A hallmark of Sheehan’s service to banks is the critical attention to detail necessary to properly secure charges.
